The Governance Training & Development Offer for the 2025/6 school year is below. It has been developed further by using the feedback from last year and we are confident that it offers excellent value for money and a comprehensive offer to all schools and academies.

Sheffield Association of School Governing Bodies (SASGB) AGM to take place following the conference at 12.30pm

Ensuring safe schools is an ongoing challenge both locally and nationally. Governors have an important role to play in helping make their schools a safe and welcoming environment for young people to learn and develop in.

Join Sue Finnigan and Sai Patel as they share their expertise from their work in safeguarding and online safety. Sue recently led on the transformative Effective Preventative Knife Crime Education project. Sai is a member of the Sheffield SAFE Taskforce, supporting young people with challenging behaviour.

Cost – Tickets are available at no extra if you have subscribed to the Learn Sheffield or RoSIS subscription offer which includes the governance training package. For non-subscribing schools and academies, the cost will be £125 per ticket.
