Leader Briefings

Leadership Events 2025/26

This year’s Leader Briefings will have a new structure. The briefings will be live online sessions, which will take place on the date below. The recording will be shared afterwards, along with a partnership meeting note and other resources which are relevant to leaders.

The Leader Briefings are included in the Sheffield Members and Core Subscription Offers. Any settings who do not purchase these offers will be able to access the briefings for an additional cost. Please contact enquiries@learnsheffield.co.uk for pricing information.

The dates for the live sessions are below:

• Thursday 4 September, 8.30-10.00am
• Thursday 6 November, 8.30-10.00am
• Thursday 8 January, 8.30-10.00am
• Thursday 26 February, 8.30-10.00am
• Thursday 16 April, 8.30-10.00am
• Thursday 4 June, 8.30-10.00am

A link to the session will be shared with all school leaders who have bought the Core Subscription Offer shortly before the briefing is due to take place.

Leadership Events 2024/25

A half-termly Leader Briefing will be distributed to settings which have purchased the Sheffield Members Offer. These briefings will be shared in Sway so that setting leaders can access the information when it is convenient for them and share easily with colleagues.

These briefings will continue to focus on providing local updates. The details of this year’s programme are below:

Schools who have bought the Sheffield Members Offer will have unlimited access (subject to availability) to these briefings. Settings who have not purchased the Sheffield Members Offer can access this programme at £95 per briefing.

Partnership Updates 2024/25

Learn Sheffield produces regular meeting notes to share with our sector partnerships and locality meetings. It is shared with our seven locality groups (which includes all primary leaders), the Primary Partnership Group, the Special & IR Partnership and the Secondary Partnership.
