This series of twilights will support teachers and senior leaders to understand risks and opportunities of using artificial intelligence tools, including generative Al, in schools and provide hands-on time to explore tools and ideas to help to reduce workload and support lesson delivery. At the latest work group meeting in October, colleagues reviewed the new AI tool from the Oak National Academy, investigated whether ChatGPT could generate as good a resource as TeachMateAI, and developed a one-page Acceptable Use Policy for AI use by teachers that can be adapted by different settings.
Acceptable Use Policy for AI – Please note that this should be adapted to meet the priorities of your own setting and needs to be reinforced by robust safeguarding, GDPR and assessment policies.
