The new subscription model is different to the previous offer and is much more flexible, so we hope that the recording will be a helpful place to start!

Multi-Academy Trust Menu
Learn Sheffield have worked with local and national multi academy trusts through the
subscription offer since it began. In our new subscription offer, we have sought to formalise
the offer to MATs based on our learning from the past six years.
Where MATs have reported the strongest impact from the Learn Sheffield subscription,
the key factor has been the extent to which the MAT identifies and uses the elements of
the offer that will support their priorities. In our new subscription offer, we have built this
learning into the two offers below. Both of these scoping sessions (which can be combined
into one conversation) are offered to any MAT who subscribes all of their settings with no
additional cost.
SCOPING: LEARN SHEFFIELD TRAINING AND
EVENTS INTO THE TRUST PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT PLAN
A Learn Sheffield colleague will take the trust
leaders through the available training and
events to help to identify the sessions which
can support the CPD plan of the trust. Once
key sessions have been identified Learn
Sheffield can provide wrap around support
to enhance the impact of the content where
appropriate.
SCOPING: LEARN SHEFFIELD IMPROVEMENT
MENU INTO THE TRUST IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAMME
A Learn Sheffield colleague will discuss the
menu options with trust leaders to identify
activities which can support the current
priorities of the trust. Once activities have
been identified Learn Sheffield can provide
wrap around support to enhance the impact
of the content, including using some of the
options on the next page.
Where these kinds of sessions have happened in recent years informally, they have
significantly improved the impact of the subscription across trusts.
Many MATs choose activities from the menu on the proceeding pages to use for and with
their central team. Strategic leadership training, document development or review, are
good examples of this. The offers below are more bespoke and based on the best practice
identified through our recent Learn Sheffield evaluation process.
THEMED TRUST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Supplement setting reviews (a wide variety of these can be found earlier in the menu) by
adding a desktop trust document review, bespoke trust training for identified leaders in
advance of the reviews and an overall report for trust leaders and trustees to follow them.
This programme has frequently been used to supplement a trust-wide programme of
safeguarding, curriculum or SEND reviews for example.
TRUST SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PARTNER
PROGRAMME (PER FULL DAY)
Supplement setting reviews (a wide variety of these can be found earlier in the menu) by
adding a desktop trust document review, bespoke trust training for identified leaders in
advance of the reviews and an overall report for trust leaders and trustees to follow them.
This programme has frequently been used to supplement a trust-wide programme of
safeguarding, curriculum or SEND reviews for example.
This activity can be developed alongside the MAT to scope a thematic review. The pricing
above reflects a standard review, which would typically include desktop review, followed by
three days on-site(s), a written report and a follow-up conversation.
Providing the external expert input for the process – standard or enhanced (to include a mid-year
external input) packages available.
Similar options can be developed to the bespoke needs of the MAT and we encourage the
MATs that we work with to co-construct their programme with us.
The prices above are determined by the level of discount secured by the settings within the
MAT. Where different settings have different levels of discount, for example where some
settings are in Sheffield and some are not, we will agree a level of discount which reflects the
range within the MAT.
