Sexual Harassment in South Yorkshire Schools- Report available online

The Sexual Harassment in South Yorkshire Schools Report is now available online. The report follows a series of workshops across a number of settings in South Yorkshire in which students were given knowledge of what is meant by Sexual Harassment, techniques to deal with it, and information about the law and what a good ally can do to mitigate matters and offer support safely.

Spring 2 Leader Briefing Available Now

The fourth leader briefing of the year is now available online. It includes the final version of the City Goals, an update of Create Sheffield, an input on the evidence around feedback from Huntington Research School, a summary of the Learn Sheffield Evaluation, some information on external writing moderation and an update on the SAFE Taskforce.
External Writing Moderation at Key Stage 2

The Learn Sheffield Improvement Partner team share an update on KS2 external writing moderation. This academic year, the moderation window is from Monday 3rd June to Thursday 27th June. The deadline for submitting KS2 teacher assessment data on the Primary Assessment Gateway (PAG) is Friday 28th June.
Learn Sheffield Independent Evaluation 2015-2023 Published

The Learn Sheffield Independent Evaluation 2015-2023 has been published online today. The evaluation itself has been written independently and is accompanied by six supporting documents produced by the Learn Sheffield team.
Strategic Leadership Courses- Upcoming Cohorts

Cynefin Sensemaker Workshop- 30 January

As part of our work on the Educating for the Future Pilot, we are looking at better ways to access and analyse the voice and experiences of children, young people and their families. Professor Dave Snowden from the Cynefin Institute will be running a workshop on the Sensemaker tool at Niagara Conference and Leisure on Tuesday 30 January.

Early Years CPD Offer

The offer includes a series of courses run by Ruth Swailes, including network sessions for leaders and practitioners, and a bespoke offer from Angela Lant. There are also two Early Years courses on offer as part of our Strategic Leadership Programme.
Diversity & Equity Festival Recordings Online

The Leadership of Primary Writing

The Learn Sheffield Improvement Partner team have written an article highlighting the importance of primary writing. The article draws on some of the key points covered in the Strategic Leadership of Primary Writing Course, which is available to schools as part of their subscription in 2022/23.
