Week Two Festival Recordings Online

The recording of sessions from the first two week of the 2021 Autumn Online Festival are now online. Every session in the festival is recorded and available to watch online for subscribing Sheffield schools and academies. Each session is also summarised in the festival news section of the Autumn Online Festival website.
Mary Myatt Joins the Online Festival Next Week!

Mary Myatt makes her first appearances in the 2021 Autumn Online Festival next week. She will join us twice on Tuesday (19 October) before returning after half term in week five of the festival on Tuesday 9 November.

As previously, all sessions will be recorded and available to access via the Learn Sheffield festival website. More sessions will be announced as the festival goes on, so check back for updates.
October 2021 Opportunities Bulletin Available

The October edition of our opportunities bulletin is out now and available for school staff to view. As always, this bulletin contains lots of great opportunities from our partners and other organisations that schools may wish to take advantage of.
Autumn Leader Roundtable Announced

The first roundtable session of this year will be online on the afternoon of Monday 22nd November. The theme for the session will 'Becoming Trauma Informed' with inputs from a panel which includes Zoe Brownlie (Healthy Minds), Dave Whittaker (Positive Regard) & colleagues from the Inclusion Taskforce.
Autumn Online Festival Launched

The 2021 Autumn Online Festival starts next week and runs through to the end of term. This year’s festival will have three main themes: ‘Leadership & Curriculum’, ‘Developing a Culture of Equality’ and ‘Why Creativity Matters Now’. More information about sessions will be announced in the days ahead but the highlight of the first three weeks of the festival (up to half term) will be the ‘Why Creativity Matters Now’ programme which has been developed in partnership with Create Sheffield.
Learn Sheffield Board: Vacancy for primary school sector director

Learn Sheffield is seeking nominations for a vacant position of primary sector director, following a recent resignation. Nomination forms have been sent to heads of eligible schools and academies today (27th September 2021) and nominations close on 18th October 2021.
Autumn 1 Governance Briefing

The first Governance Briefing of this year is taking place on Wednesday 29th September at 5:30 pm. Emma Knights (NGA Chief Executive) will be speaking about the current challenges and opportunities facing governors today and reflecting on the issues facing governors in Sheffield, drawing on the recent NGA national governance survey and what it tells us about the state of governance in the city.
LSIP Team Ofsted Scheduling Blog
