The Senior Mental Health Lead role is recommended by the Department of Education. Grants of £1200 are available to attend the training.
Healthy Minds training will deliver the nationally agreed learning objectives at a cost of £800 for the first participant and £400 pp in addition.
Schools have found it helpful to have more than one person attending to aid planning.
Please note grants are now available for schools who wish to repeat the training as their SMHL has left their post. We will also consider any application from Sheffield schools, even if they are unable to secure a grant.

This course is most useful for attendees who can lead school improvement in emotional wellbeing, as the Senior Mental Health Lead.
Our training will protect time for discussion, planning and sharing of practice and will flex to the needs of the group. It is aimed at beginner to expert level.
