Primary Subject Leader Networks Now Online
Published: 27 September 2022
We are delighted to be re-introducing Primary Subject Leader Networks in partnership with RoSIS. This programme is being developed over this year so that each subject network is facilitated by two colleagues (from Rotherham and Sheffield) and repeated twice (in Rotherham and Sheffield) each term.
The Primary Subject Leader Networks are now live on the Learn Sheffield website: https://learnsheffield.co.uk/Training/Subject-Leader-Networks
This programme is being delivered in partnership with RoSIS and being developed over this year so that each subject network is facilitated by two colleagues (from Rotherham and Sheffield) and repeated twice (in Rotherham and Sheffield) each term. This will enable colleagues to attend the session that is most convenient to them, as well as ensuring the quality of the sessions through the collaboration. Some networks may launch in the autumn term without a Sheffield facilitator or date, but all networks will be operating as described above by the spring.
The following Primary Subject Leader Networks are available: Art / Computing / DT / English / Geography / History / Maths / MFL / Music / Physical Education / PSHE / RE / Science
When you look online you will currently see the Sheffield contribution to the networks is generally to be confirmed, but these names and dates will be added shortly as they are confirmed. We are sharing the programme now so that colleagues who wish to attend the autumn session in Rotherham can do so.
We are delighted to be re-introducing these subject networks, which were initially paused during Covid. The partnership with RoSIS has enabled us to strengthen this offer. All subscribing schools and academies (to Learn Sheffield or RoSIS) have unlimited access to this programme. Non-subscribing schools can access the programme and should contact stephen.betts@learnsheffield.co.uk to discuss this. Colleagues will notice that booking links for this programme go to the Forge CPD website (no login required) rather than the Learn Sheffield website.
