SenseMaker
The Collectors
From April 2025 these tools will start to be used by a number of schools across the City. You can find more information about this project and links to the SenseMaker tools here.
Growing up in Sheffield is a community-based action research project supported by Learn Sheffield. We are asking young people, their parents, and those who work with them professionally about their perspective on what it's like to grow up in Sheffield. This three part approach will help us discover more about what really matters to the youth of Sheffield and how we can help them have the best start in life.
The aim of this project is to understand the young people’s experience of life in Sheffield, in particular their experiences at school, and what factors make their experience positive or negative.
The data will be analysed and written up into a report. It may be used as part of an evidence base to later recommend specific actions or improvements that can benefit the youth of Sheffield.
The collectors have been designed so that they will work on any device- laptop, tablet or smartphone.
