Climate Emergency Programme

The Climate Emergency programme has been funded by Sheffield City Council as part of the same funding that that underpins the Funded Programmes.

The programme start was delayed by Covid and the funding is now being used across the 2021/22 and 2022/23 school years. More information about the programme can be found below, including training and resources, options for whole-school climate programmes and links to key partners.

The Programme

The programme has been developed with partners to support settings to address the climate and ecological emergencies. This includes the development of CPD for teachers and leaders to support them in identifying an engaging with a whole school climate programme.

The programme supports the annual pledge and are working closely with Let’s Go Zero and Eco-Schools to ensure that Sheffield settings have supported access to the right whole-school climate programme for them.
