Assistant Project Officer

Learn Sheffield has a vacancy for an Assistant Project Officer to provide project support to Learn Sheffield and our partners. We work with a wide range of partner organisations to improve outcomes and improve the education offer to children and young people in the city.

We are currently working with Create Sheffield to support the development of creativity and innovation, so that every child and young person has the chance to benefit from creative opportunities. This exciting role will involve two days per week working directly with Create Sheffield, alongside Learn Sheffield projects.

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure, balancing and prioritising conflicting needs and meet deadlines
  • Able to be professional face to face and on the telephone
  • Able to communicate effectively, including the use of media platforms
  • Self-motivated with a desire to be part of exciting projects

Hours:Full Time (37 hour) 52 weeks per year
Salary:£21,693 - £23,866
