This course will explore the different facets of reading in secondary school, how they interlink and what characterises effective practice in secondary reading.
Audience: Senior Leaders who lead reading/literacy and Faculty Leaders who want to improve reading, including disciplinary literacy, in the subject(s) they oversee. This course is for colleagues in secondary settings.
The cost for this course is £300 (or 0.5 subscription days) for subscribing settings, or £350 for non-subscribing settings.
Session 1 is a half day and sessions 2 and 3 are twilights. All sessions will take place at Learn Sheffield.
