Strategic Leadership of Primary Maths
Over the sessions we will explore the following key themes as well as be informed by your reflections so please attend the first session with your key priorities for maths for 2024-2025.
- What does research tell us
- Developing a culture of maths
- Curriculum and lesson design
- Monitoring and assessment
- Inspection framework and changes looking ahead
The content of the second session will be determined by the priorities of those attending session 1.
Audience: Subject Leaders/colleagues with strategic oversight of maths within the primary sector.
The course follows a half day, full day structure and all sessions will take place in person at Learn Sheffield.
