Summer 2 Leader Briefing now available

Our final leader briefing of the year is now available. It includes an input about the SEND system from Nick Whittaker, which he shared at our recent Leadership Seminar, an input from Huntington Research School on professional development and the new updated Implementation Guidance, an update on our governance engagement project, and information on the Learn Sheffield subscription offer for 2024/25.

Learn Sheffield Subscription 2024/25

The Learn Sheffield Subscription Offer for 2024/25 is now available. The new subscription model is different to the previous offer and is much more flexible. A recording is available, as well as a booklet with more information.

Our Summer Leadership Conference is taking place on 28 June at Niagara Conference and Leisure. Learn Sheffield subscribing settings are entitled to one place as part of their subscription, with additional places being charged at £95. Places are now being offered outside of the city so please book now to avoid disappointment.

Sexual Harassment in South Yorkshire Schools- Report available online

The Sexual Harassment in South Yorkshire Schools Report is now available online. The report follows a series of workshops across a number of settings in South Yorkshire in which students were given knowledge of what is meant by Sexual Harassment, techniques to deal with it, and information about the law and what a good ally can do to mitigate matters and offer support safely.
Sheffield SAFE Taskforce Annual Report now available online

The Sheffield SAFE Taskforce Year 1 Annual Report is now available online. This report provides an overview of the Department for Education’s SAFE programme in Sheffield and covers the period from September 2022 to September 2023.
External Writing Moderation at Key Stage 2

The Learn Sheffield Improvement Partner team share an update on KS2 external writing moderation. This academic year, the moderation window is from Monday 3rd June to Thursday 27th June. The deadline for submitting KS2 teacher assessment data on the Primary Assessment Gateway (PAG) is Friday 28th June.

Strategic Leadership Courses- Upcoming Cohorts

The second cohorts of most of our Strategic Leadership Courses are due to begin shortly. Details are available on the webpage and dates are also listed below. Subscribing schools have £1200 worth of these courses included in the subscription and additional places can be accessed. Colleagues should email us at bookings@learnsheffield.co.uk to book places.
