The School SEND Conference (Friday 17 November - AM and PM sessions available) has been organised by the Inclusion Task Force, Sheffield City Council and Learn Sheffield. All Sheffield Headteachers and SENCOs are invited to this free information event, which also features a keynote from Lesley Cox (formerly national Ofsted SEND Lead).

Learn Sheffield in conjunction with Sheffield LA and the Inclusion Task Force invitesall Headteachers and SENCos to a freeconference information event.

The conference will take place on Friday 17thNovember at Tapton Hall (refreshments included). There will be a morning session (9:30am-12pm) or afternoon session (1:30pm-4pm) to attend.

‘An Ofsted view of SEND’

Prior to working for Ofsted, Lesley was a headteacher of a large pupil referral unit and has been a middle and senior leader within secondary schools, with a teaching background in creative arts. Lesley has significant experience in whole school inclusionstrategies and wider partnership working. She has undertaken enhanced training to inspect disability and special educational needs.
