Whole School and Settings Approach to Food and Nutrition

Hours: Full time (37 hours per week)
Duration: 5 year fixed term contract
Salary: £29,909 - £32,233
Location: Sheffield

Learn Sheffield has been commissioned to deliver a new 5-year programme to develop and deliver a city wide Whole School and Setting Approach to Food and Nutrition Service. This service forms part of the Sheffield Food and Wellbeing Strategy. The new service will work with schools and learning settings to embed a culture supporting healthy diet, contributing to measures aimed at reducing obesity and ill-health among children and young people.

The new service will be developed through a partnership approach working with local organisations and also with Food for Life, a national charity focussed on promoting healthy food and nutrition.

We want to recruit a project co-ordinator to lead this exciting development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background, knowledge and experience of food and nutrition, alongside the ability to successfully engage with schools and other settings. The ideal candidate will also have excellent project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
