Membership Set to Reach 100%

Learn Sheffield is delighted to announce that the proportion of Sheffield schools and colleges who have either joined Learn Sheffield, or indicated that they intend to, has reached 100%!

This is especially timely as the details have been announced about the Annual General Meeting (AGM) / Extra-ordinary General Meeting (EGM)  & the process for the election of the substantive Board.

AGM/EGM

Learn Sheffield will hold its first AGM & EGM on Thursday 24th November 2016 from 6.30-7.30pm. The event will be held at Sheffield Hallam University's Institute of Education on Charles Street.  

The meeting will combine the AGM, when the interim Board reports on activities in 2015-16 and shares the financial statement, and the EGM, when the interim Board will resign and new Directors will be appointed.

The papers for this meeting will be circulated on Wednesday 2nd November 2016.  

Election of the substantive Board

The 'Nomination Form for a Director of the Board' can be used to nominate a candidate to be appointed as a Director of the Learn Sheffield Board.  It must be signed by both the proposer and the candidate and further notes can be found on the reverse of the form.

The nomination form (and personal statement) must be returned by Friday 4th November 2016, 12.00noon. If an election is required, ballot forms will be emailed out on Friday 4th November 2016 and the result of the election will be announced at the AGM/EGM on Thursday 24th November 2016.
