Sheffield SEND Strategy and Delivery Plan Published

The SEND Strategy and Delivery Plan have now been published on the Local SEND Offer website. They are being shared on behalf of the Local Area SEND Partnership, which includes Sheffield City Council, South Yorkshire ICB, Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, Sheffield Parent Carer Forum and Learn Sheffield.

Healthy Child Development Work- Expressions of Interest

Expressions of interest are invited for a partner organisation or group of organisations to contribute to the next phase of development of Sheffield’s Healthy Child Development model. The deadline for expressions of interest is Monday 23 February. You may be required to attend an in person meeting to share your ideas with the group of experts working across the NHS, Education, Early Years, Social Care and Voluntary Sector who are developing the Sheffield Healthy Child Development model.

AEPA briefing - The Schools White Paper with Sir Kevan Collins - 27 February, 9-10am

We are delighted to confirm that Sir Kevan Collins, the lead non-executive board member at the Department for Education, will be joining us for a webinar on the Schools White Paper, which was released earlier this week. He will join us for a briefing on Friday 27 February between 9am and 10am. Following his presentation, he will take questions from the AEPA audience.

Governance Team Wins Visible Governance Award

This prestigious award recognises organisations that champion and showcase the importance of school and trust governance, making it more visible, valued, and effective across the education sector.
