Spring 1 Leader Briefing now available

The third Leader Briefing of the year is now available and includes an introduction to the Write a Book to Change the World project, an input on oracy from Huntington Research School, content from the LSIP team on reading in primary and secondary as well as an input from our CEO, Stephen Betts on the recent Leadership Breakfast and a look ahead to the spring term.
Cynefin Sensemaker Workshop- 30 January

As part of our work on the Educating for the Future Pilot, we are looking at better ways to access and analyse the voice and experiences of children, young people and their families. Professor Dave Snowden from the Cynefin Institute will be running a workshop on the Sensemaker tool at Niagara Conference and Leisure on Tuesday 30 January.
Learn Sheffield AGM Papers Published

The Annual General Meeting of Learn Sheffield will be held on Thursday 8th February 2024 at 6pm. The meeting will be held virtually. Papers for the meeting, including the Director's Strategic Report and the Member's Accounts have now been shared with members.

Early Years CPD Offer

Sessions on our Early Years CPD programme are available to book, with details listed on our website. The offer includes a series of courses run by Ruth Swailes, including network sessions for leaders and practitioners, and a bespoke offer from Angela Lant. There are also two Early Years courses on offer as part of our Strategic Leadership Programme.
Diversity & Equity Festival Recordings Online

In the last two years Learn Sheffield has hosted an Autumn Online Festival. This autumn we have held a short festival focussed on Diversity & Equity. The online sessions from this week are now online and available for Learn Sheffield and RoSIS subscribers to view.

Catherine Elliott was interviewed as part of a BBC News report on the use of artificial intelligence in education: 'AI helps out time-strapped teachers, says report'. This followed a recent DfE report on the uses of AI.
