The latest version (June 2018) of the Opportunities Bulletin is now available online and via email. It contains a variety of opportunities for primary, secondary and special schools in Sheffield.
Opportunity - P4C Pilot from DECSY

DECSY is looking for 2 teachers per school, preferably secondary phase to participate in piloting teaching materials on ‘Using Philosophy for Children (P4C) to build understanding and critical thinking about extremism and terrorism for pupils aged 9 to 13’. These materials have been developed by teachers and consultants in response to the Manchester bombings and murder of Jo Cox.

Wellbeing App Pilot Commission (Ends 25th May)

Trans Support Pack for Sheffield Schools

SAYiT have been commissioned by Sheffield City Council to create the Trans Support Pack. It is designed to support with issues such as recording a students preferred name, providing gender neutral toilets, supporting parents, carers and siblings at the school as well as lesson plans for teachers to help introduce the topic.
