What does great practice in relation to attendance and punctuality look like?

Published: 27 September 2016
Sheffield Attendance Conference on Friday 11th November seeks to answer this question with the help of Helen Lane (Senior HMI - Yorkshire and Humber)

Maximising attendance and punctuality is a Sheffield Priority and is part of the ‘Readiness’ theme; ensuring that children and young people are ready for learning, relationships, the next stage in education, the workplace and adult life in a cohesive community and successful economy.

Learn Sheffield is hosting an Attendance Conference on Friday 11th November to explore the question 'What does great practice in relation to attendance and punctuality look like?'.

The programme includes an Ofsted Update and a key note from Helen Lane (Senior HMI - Yorkshire and Humber) entitled 'Attendance & punctuality – through the lens of Inspection'. It also includes short presentations from Sheffield City Council colleagues on the responsibilities of schools. The details are below.
