The Local Authority is supporting a Sheffield University research study which aims to address dyslexia.  The research is funded (schools will get all costs met) and is based on the latest research evidence.  We think this is a great opportunity for schools to engage in a practical but potentially important study.  It involves children in Year 2 and follows them through to Year 3 so would ideally be suited to primary schools.

We are aiming to have 18 schools involved in the project.  At this stage we need schools to simply express an interest so that the project can progress to the implementation stage.  If you are interested please contact Liz.Jackson@sheffield.gov.uk.  Ideally we would like to have expressions of interest by early to mid March 2017.
